Role: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Co. Dublin
Salary: €40,000 – €70,000
Talent Curve are delighted to be recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager on behalf of a leading Civil Engineering Contractor. With a strong pipeline of projects across Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to high-profile civil engineering works.
The Role
As Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work closely with an experienced Project Manager, supporting the delivery of projects from planning through to completion. This role will give you hands-on experience in managing programmes, budgets, and teams, while developing the skills and confidence needed to progress into a full Project Manager role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Project Manager in leading and motivating site teams, ensuring collaboration and safety standards are maintained.
- Supporting the management of project programmes, budgets, and quality standards.
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate project reports and documentation.
- Providing technical support and helping resolve site challenges.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience in a civil engineering or infrastructure environment, ideally in a site or engineering role.
- Exposure to project management responsibilities (programme, cost, quality, subcontractor management).
- Civil engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work well with teams and clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Full driving licence (essential).
