Automation Engineering Opportunities – Ireland

Salary Range: €35,000 – €85,000 (DOE & Level)

We are currently partnering with a number of leading engineering and technology companies across Ireland who are looking to expand their Automation Engineering teams. Opportunities are available at Graduate, Mid-Level, and Senior positions, supporting long-term projects across sectors including pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, manufacturing, and utilities.
Roles Available:

Graduate Automation Engineers – Starting your career in PLC/SCADA systems, project support, and control system design.

Automation Engineers – Take ownership of software development, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.

Senior Automation Engineers – Lead projects, mentor junior engineers, manage client relationships, and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
-
Development and programming of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
-
Integration of automation solutions with existing plant and equipment.
-
Troubleshooting, fault-finding and continuous improvement of control systems.
-
On-site commissioning, testing (FAT/SAT), and client handovers.
-
Collaboration with cross-disciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.
-
Working on projects that span high-speed manufacturing, process control, robotics, and energy efficiency.
Candidate Profiles:
-
Engineering degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Control Systems (or related).

Exposure to or proficiency in one or more PLC/SCADA platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Wonderware, etc.).

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
-
Willingness to travel to client sites if required.

For senior roles: project delivery experience, team leadership, and client-facing ability.
