The Role
As Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company by driving success across tender opportunities. Your responsibilities will include
- Lead Management: Review and identify the best tender opportunities aligned with sales and marketing goals, and assign leads to the right team members.
- Documentation Excellence: Ensure all tender submissions are completed accurately and submitted within deadlines, maintaining the highest standards.
- Estimating Support: Assist in the estimating process, from sending out packages to pricing tenders and final documentation preparation.
- Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and client needs to continuously improve bid success rates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team to close orders effectively and efficiently.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor success rates and conversions, ensuring continuous improvement in the bid process.
The Ideal Candidate
- A third-level qualification in a related industry.
- Proven experience in bid writing within the construction industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
