About the Opportunity
Talent Curve Recruitment is partnered with a leading energy management and building automation specialist to recruit an experienced BMS Engineer.
Our client is a highly respected, rapidly expanding player in the Irish market. They are an approved partner to major global systems manufacturers and are known for investing heavily in their engineering teams through certified training. This role is a confidential hire due to business expansion.
Role Overview
Working as a Field Engineer, you will handle a mix of commissioning projects and service maintenance across commercial and industrial sites. You will optimize system performance, load software strategies, and troubleshoot control networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning: Set up software, load strategies, configure graphics, and complete end-to-end testing.
- Service & Maintenance: Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and rapid reactive fault-finding.
- Upgrades: Identify and execute system retrofits and energy-saving software modifications.
- Integration: Work with open protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and integrated network platforms.
Requirements
- BMS Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in BMS service, commissioning, or maintenance.
- System Knowledge: Experience with major systems such as Trend, Tridium, or Schneider Electric is highly advantageous.
- Background: Strong electrical or electronic fault-finding skills (Trade or Engineering qualification preferred).
- Licence: Full, clean driving licence for travel to client sites.
