We’re working with a well-established fit-out and refurbishment specialist based in Belfast, delivering high-end projects across cruise ships and ferries globally. With over 30 years in the industry, they’ve built a strong reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and delivering complex projects on tight timelines.
They’re now looking to bring in a CAD Technician to support their growing project workload.
The Role
You’ll be supporting the design and project teams by producing accurate technical drawings and layouts for fit-out projects.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved from concept through to installation, working on bespoke interiors and detailed refurbishment work.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
– Producing 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
– Creating detailed manufacturing and installation drawings
– Working closely with project managers, designers, and production teams
– Interpreting design briefs and turning them into practical, buildable solutions
– Updating drawings in line with project changes and site feedback
– Supporting with documentation and drawing control
What They’re Looking For
– Experience using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
– Background in CAD within construction, manufacturing, or fit-out (marine a bonus, not essential)
– Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
– Good communication skills – you’ll be working closely with multiple teams
