Job Title: Site Foreman

Salary: €65,000 - 75,000 + vehicle etc.

We are currently seeking a Site Foreman with a carpentry background to join an established main contractor on a residential development in Rathmines, Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Carpenter who is ready to take the next step into site management, or an existing Site Foreman looking to join a well-established construction team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day site activities, managing trades and subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The Role
- Supervising daily construction activities on a residential development.
- Coordinating trades, subcontractors and site deliveries.
- Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and project programmes.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control.
- Monitoring site progress and reporting to the Site Manager.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Assisting with the planning and sequencing of works.
- Resolving day-to-day site issues and keeping the project running smoothly.
The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified Carpenter or someone with a strong carpentry background.
- Previous experience working with a main contractor on construction projects.
- Residential construction experience would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site operations.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to coordinate trades and lead by example.
- An interest in progressing into a Site Foreman or supervisory role.
Previous Site Foreman experience is beneficial but not essential for the right candidate with strong practical experience and leadership potential.
