Job Description: Our client is currently seeking a motivated Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Limerick. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and planning of civil engineering projects, contributing to the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, and infrastructure.
  • Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather relevant data for project planning.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software to create accurate and efficient design solutions.
  • Assist in the evaluation of project feasibility and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering or related field).
  • 0-3 years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Membership of Engineers Ireland (desirable).
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Windes/Microdrainage software (desirable).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary: €35,000 - €50,000 per annum
