Site Manager
Job Location: Louth/Meath
Sector: Civil
Talent Curve Recruitment are seeking to appoint a Civils Site Manager, to complete civils work on commercial and public projects. The successful candidate will join a company that has more than 25 years’ experience in the Civil Engineering Industry.
The successful candidate will have a strong civils background, managing various civil projects involving drainage, kerbing, utilities, roads, lighting, groundworks and earthworks.
Job Requirements:
- Liaise with the Project Manager
- Ensure all site activity is aligned with the project plan
- Supervise and co-ordinate teams of direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring they are meeting targets and deadlines
- Complete the daily site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
- Organise site meetings
- Complete site inductions
- Coordinate Plant and Machinery, checking that they are fit for purpose
- Ensure the highest standard of safety protocols are established and implemented on site.
- Ensure the site is a safe place to work that complies with current legislation.
- Assist in emergency situations
- Order in materials
- Manage traffic on site
- Attend Site Management meetings
Job Specification:
- Civils Foreman / Manager background
- 4 years plus experience in a similar position
- Confident in managing civil teams
- Experience working with heavy machinery
- Experience in groundworks, drainage, earthworks and muck shifting etc
- Extremely organised and confident in communication
- Able to work towards targets and deadlines
- Full Driving License
