I’m working with a long-established precision engineering firm who’ve invested heavily in modern CNC technology. They supply into aerospace, medical, defence and general precision manufacturing, and the workshop is clean, organised, and properly kitted out. They’re now adding another CNC Machinist to the team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-accuracy components. It’s a mix of 3- and 5-axis work, working from detailed drawings, checking your own parts, and keeping things running smoothly on the shop floor. If you enjoy tight tolerances, clean machining and proper engineering, you’ll fit in well.

What they’re looking for

• Strong CNC experience
• Confident reading engineering drawings
• Comfortable checking your own work using standard metrology kit
• Someone who cares about doing things right first time
• A steady, reliable approach on the shop floor
