CNC Machinist (Turning)

£13–£18 per hour
Permanent – 4-day week

This role is with a precision engineering company who specialise in high-quality turned components for a range of high-end industries. Plenty of variety, modern turning centres, and a team who know what they’re doing. They’re expanding their turning capability and need an experienced CNC Turner to join the line-up.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll set and operate CNC lathes (including turn-mill where needed), work from drawings, hit tight tolerances, and keep quality high from start to finish. There’s a good mix of batch and repeat work, plus a strong culture around doing things properly and keeping the place tidy.

What they’re looking for

• Experienced CNC Turner (precision environment ideally)
• Confident with drawings, tooling, and GD&T
• Strong measuring capability
• Someone who stays calm, methodical, and quality-focused
