Hours: 39 per week – 07.45–16.45 Monday–Thursday, 07.45–12.45 Friday
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Talent Curve is working with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Lisburn, supporting the aerospace sector with complex, high-tolerance components. Due to continued demand, they’re now looking to add an experienced CNC Programmer to their machining team.

The role

You’ll be responsible for programming and supporting the manufacture of complex aerospace parts, working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating, editing, and optimising CNC programs, ideally using Hypermill
  • Programming and supporting machines running HAAS and Heidenhain controllers
  • Interpreting complex CAD models and detailed engineering drawings
  • Ensuring components meet strict aerospace tolerances and quality standards
  • Supporting first-article inspection and in-process quality checks
  • Recommending tooling, fixtures, and process improvements
  • Maintaining accurate setup sheets, tooling data, and program documentation
  • Working safely and in line with company and industry procedures

What they’re looking for

  • At least 3 years’ experience in CNC programming within a precision engineering environment
  • Strong experience programming 5-axis parts for aerospace applications
  • Confidence working with HAAS and Heidenhain control systems
  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T and complex technical drawings
  • Experience machining materials such as aluminium, steel, stainless, and polymers
  • A methodical approach, strong attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset
