Construction Administrator - Kildare

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to support the Contracts Manager and wider project team. This position is primarily office-based, with occasional site visits as required. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating project documentation, managing communications, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day administrative tasks within a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to project management and site teams

  • Maintain accurate project records, drawings, and reports

  • Manage document control, including filing, tracking, and distribution of key project information

  • Coordinate communication between the office, site, subcontractors, and suppliers

  • Support procurement processes including PO tracking and invoice management

  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes

  • Assist with health & safety compliance and training record upkeep

  • Liaise with clients and consultants as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within construction or engineering

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with construction documentation and terminology is a strong advantage

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Full driving licence preferred (for site visits)
