An established and highly regarded construction company with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects across the region is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Planner to join their growing team.
With a proven track record across building and civil engineering projects, the company is known for its professional approach, high standards and ability to deliver complex projects safely and efficiently.
The Role
The Construction Planner will play a key role in planning and coordinating projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes.
- Coordinate project timelines, resources and key milestones.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Engineers and subcontractors.
- Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or risks.
- Prepare regular programme updates and reports.
- Assist with project sequencing, procurement and resource planning.
- Coordinate with design and commercial teams to ensure programmes align with project requirements.
- Support the project team in achieving programme, quality and commercial objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and programme performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a Planning or Project Planning role within construction.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and methodologies.
- Experience working on building and/or civil engineering projects.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Ability to analyse programmes, identify risks and develop practical solutions.
- Relevant third-level qualification in Construction, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
