A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Planner to join its high-performing project teams in Dublin. This role will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling design and construction activities, monitoring progress and supporting the successful delivery of major projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and risks.
- Implement corrective actions to maintain project programmes.
- Carry out site visits and update schedules based on progress.
- Prepare regular progress reports covering milestones, risks and opportunities.
- Review project plans, specifications and drawings to identify potential issues.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction planning or scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of P6, Asta and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with Earned Value Management and NEC contracts.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
