Continuous Improvement Engineer (CI) – Co. Tipperary
The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Continuous Improvement Engineer for a manufacturing client in Co. Tipperary. This key role is focused on driving efficiency, eliminating waste, and optimising performance across production lines. We are looking for a strong analytical problem-solver ready to lead change and embed a Lean culture.
Core Responsibilities
The CI Engineer will implement and sustain Lean and Six Sigma methodologies:

Process Analysis: Identify bottlenecks and waste (Muda) using tools like value stream mapping and cycle time analysis.

Project Execution: Lead CI projects (e.g., DMAIC) to deliver quantifiable operational and cost improvements.

Lean Implementation: Drive the adoption of core Lean tools (5S, Standard Work, SMED, and Kaizen).

Training: Develop and deliver training to production staff on CI principles.

Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs and report on efficiency gains and financial savings.
Candidate Profile & Compensation
Essential Criteria

Degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical) or Science.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in CI or Process Engineering in manufacturing.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology (Green Belt desirable).

Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects.

Excellent analytical skills.
Compensation

Salary Range: €40,000 – €50,000 per annum.
