A highly regarded and well-established Irish main contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its senior leadership team for the delivery of a landmark €50 million construction project in County Kerry.
With decades of experience delivering complex projects across the commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, residential, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors, this contractor has earned an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation, and dependable project delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Contracts Manager with a strong civils and structural construction background to play a key role in overseeing the successful delivery of a major project while contributing to the continued growth of a respected industry leader.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of a major €50 million construction project.
- Managing project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Providing strategic oversight of all civils and structural elements throughout the construction programme.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure effective project execution.
- Monitoring commercial performance, project risks, and programme milestones.
- Supporting Project Managers and Site Management teams to drive performance and resolve technical challenges.
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have:
- Significant experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role with a main contractor.
- A proven background delivering large-scale civils and structural construction projects.
- Strong technical understanding of complex structural and civil engineering works.
- Excellent leadership, commercial, and programme management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining focus on quality, safety, and project objectives.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
