An established building and restoration company is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee a major conservation project coming up in Limerick. This is a permanent opportunity to join a specialist contractor with a strong reputation in building refurbishments, heritage works, and conservation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee multiple aspects of conservation and restoration works on site.
  • Lead, coordinate, and support project teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Review programmes, drawing packages, and submittals while identifying potential issues early.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Drive project progress through effective planning, reporting, and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ construction industry experience, ideally with exposure to heritage, refurbishment, or conservation projects.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects or large-scale works.
  • Relevant third-level qualification in construction management, engineering, or trade background with extensive management experience.
  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and reporting skills.
  • Full understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements, with up-to-date Health & Safety training desirable.
