Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a dynamic team in Waterford. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in managing projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and educational. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, fostering client relationships, and driving excellence in construction practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget across residential, commercial, and educational sectors.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction with project delivery.
  • Lead a team of project managers, site managers, and other construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative working environment.
  • Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance, implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Uphold the highest standards of construction quality, ensuring that projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Participate in contract negotiations, reviewing terms and conditions to ensure they align with company policies and objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with projects, implementing proactive measures to maintain project timelines and budgets.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry.
  • Extensive experience overseeing large-scale projects across residential, commercial, and educational sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management abilities.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Contracts Manager role.
