Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Contracts Manager in Limerick. A leading main contractor with a robust pipeline of residential projects across the south-west of Ireland. An exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to oversee and manage contracts on a variety of residential projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and management of construction contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure all contractual obligations are met on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, ensuring all parties understand their obligations and rights.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are achieved and financial risks are managed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract negotiations, changes, and other pertinent documentation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Contracts Manager, with a strong background in residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
