Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Contracts Manager on behalf of our client for a substantial logistics project based in Naas, County Kildare. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the contractual aspects of the project, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with the specified requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee and manage all contractual obligations for the logistics project, ensuring that the terms and conditions are adhered to by all parties involved.
- Project Oversight: Work closely with the project management team to ensure that the project progresses in line with the agreed schedule, quality standards, and budget.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage potential risks associated with the project, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
- Cost Control: Monitor project costs closely, ensuring that all expenditures are in line with the budget and that any variations are managed effectively.
- Subcontractor Management: Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of subcontractors, ensuring that they deliver their work to the required standards and within the agreed timelines.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client on all contractual matters, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all contractual documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Dispute Resolution: Handle any contractual disputes that may arise, working towards resolutions that are in the best interest of the project and the company.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, detailing the contractual status, financial performance, and any emerging risks or issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing large-scale logistics or industrial projects.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts

- Proficiency in contract management software and tools
