A highly respected and long-established construction contractor, recognised for delivering high-quality residential and multi-unit developments across Ireland, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for a student accommodation and apartments project based in Limerick.
This contractor is known for its strong project governance, consistent delivery, and commitment to quality, safety, and programme certainty. With decades of industry experience and a solid pipeline of residential work, they offer long-term career stability and progression.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the successful delivery of a large-scale student accommodation/apartment development
- Manage multiple site teams, including Site Managers and Engineers
- Take overall responsibility for programme, cost control, quality, and health & safety
- Coordinate subcontract procurement, performance, and commercial compliance
- Work closely with project management, commercial teams, and senior leadership
- Liaise with clients, design teams, and consultants to ensure project objectives are met
- Identify and manage project risks, driving solutions and efficiencies
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations and company standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager on residential, apartment, or student accommodation projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, programming, and commercial management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and teams across complex projects
- Strong commitment to health & safety and quality assurance
- Relevant construction qualifications and professional certifications
