We are recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager to join a high-performing construction team delivering major projects in the Netherlands.
Our client is an established international construction contractor specialising in critical environments, including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing and Critical Logistics. The business works with leading blue-chip clients on high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of multiple construction projects from bid stage through to completion.
- Manage the full bid and tender process, from initial opportunity through to mobilisation.
- Lead project teams to achieve key milestones, programme requirements and commercial targets.
- Oversee the commercial and contractual performance of projects.
- Identify and manage commercial, contractual and project risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams and external stakeholders.
- Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across all projects.
- Identify opportunities for new and repeat business with existing and prospective clients.
- Work with senior leadership to drive innovation and continuous business improvement.
- Build, develop and retain high-performing project teams.
- Promote a positive, inclusive and collaborative working environment.
About You
- 10+ years' construction experience, including at least 5 years' experience as a Project Manager.
- Relevant third-level qualification would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial, contractual and project management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, BIM, programming and planning.
- Proven ability to build and retain strong project teams.
- Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working in challenging or ambiguous environments.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
- Willingness and ability to work internationally within the Netherlands.
