Job Summary:
They are seeking a skilled Control Panel Builder to join our team in Mid Ulster. Control Panel Builder will be responsible for building and assembling electrical control panels accurately and effectively, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble electrical control panels/switchgear products accurately and effectively, on time, and within target cost, in line with safety standards.
- Interpret panel designs from wiring diagrams and understand electrical schematics and bills of material.
- Solve installation problems and conduct testing and inspection of final products (if trained to do so).
- Maintain a quality service by establishing and implementing company standards.
- Act within the company's policies and procedures, including Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, and Disciplinary guidelines.
- Undertake any other duties conducive to the role and business as deemed within your capability.
Criteria:
- Previous experience in panel/switchgear/motor control panel building. (desirable)
- Ability to interpret panel designs from wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of electrical schematics and bills of material.
- Familiarity with electrical controls and LV power components.
- Knowledge of panel assembly/fabrication techniques.
- Experience in manufacturing/mechanical assembly work.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of and willingness to implement Health & Safety standards.
- Electrical Qualification (desirable).
