Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer – Munster | €60,000–€75,000
(Water & Wastewater Sector – Field-Based Role)

A respected engineering contractor is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join their field service team, covering multiple sites across the Munster region. The role will involve supporting the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of E&I systems across water and wastewater treatment projects.

The Package:

  • €60,000–€75,000 depending on experience

  • Company vehicle, fuel card, and travel expenses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment across treatment facilities

  • Carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, and calibration on flow, level, and pressure instrumentation

  • Support commissioning and handover of new and upgraded control systems

  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with industry standards and health & safety policies

  • Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers as needed

  • Document works, testing, and system changes for compliance and reporting

What You’ll Need:

  • Electrical trade or engineering qualification (Level 6+)

  • Proven experience in the water/wastewater or similar process industry

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and field wiring

  • Full Irish driving licence – regional travel required

  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills
