Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer – Munster | €60,000–€75,000
(Water & Wastewater Sector – Field-Based Role)
A respected engineering contractor is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join their field service team, covering multiple sites across the Munster region. The role will involve supporting the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of E&I systems across water and wastewater treatment projects.
The Package:

€60,000–€75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Install and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment across treatment facilities

Carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, and calibration on flow, level, and pressure instrumentation

Support commissioning and handover of new and upgraded control systems

Ensure all works are carried out in line with industry standards and health & safety policies

Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers as needed

Document works, testing, and system changes for compliance and reporting
What You’ll Need:
-
Electrical trade or engineering qualification (Level 6+)

Proven experience in the water/wastewater or similar process industry

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and field wiring
-
Full Irish driving licence – regional travel required

Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills
