About Our Client:
Our client, a prominent company in Tipperary, is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems within the facility, with the convenience of day shifts and a company van provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support production goals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Trade certification or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Valid driver's license required (for company van usage).
