About Our Client:
Our client, a prominent company in Tipperary, is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems within the facility, with the convenience of day shifts and a company van provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support production goals.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Trade certification or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Valid driver's license required (for company van usage).
