Position: Electrical Project Manager

Location: Co. Kildare (with travel to sites nationwide)

Our client stands at the forefront of delivering premier High Voltage and Medium Voltage engineering solutions spanning Ireland, the UK, and Europe. With a core focus on electrical design, installation, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance.

Due to the successful acquisition of renewable energy projects, we are expanding our team and seeking motivated Project Managers to join our dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining regular communication with stakeholders through weekly/monthly status reports.
  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards throughout project lifecycles.
  • Make informed decisions under pressure, demonstrating problem-solving skills and taking ownership of projects.
  • Provide leadership to motivate and direct project teams, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are maintained.
  • Utilize technical electrical knowledge, ideally with civil engineering experience, to evaluate equipment offers and drive cost reductions.
  • Liaise with existing and potential clients, representing the company professionally.
  • Monitor and review contractors' activities to ensure compliance with company standards.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Electrical Engineering Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Willingness to travel within Ireland and the UK; company vehicle provided.

Other Requirements:

  • Legally eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Full clean driver's license valid for use in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Safe Pass certification.
