Role Description:

  • Participate in initial project meetings to align on objectives.
  • Thoroughly review project details and specifications.
  • Manage the submission and approval process for technical documents.
  • Handle and resolve RFIs efficiently.
  • Track and manage labour resources.
  • Prepare and update weekly progress reports, addressing any changes or variations.
  • Coordinate with main contractors and client site teams.
  • Oversee the delivery and coordination of project equipment.
  • Ensure continuous availability of necessary materials.
  • Implement and manage construction and commissioning schedules.
  • Create biweekly/monthly snag lists and oversee improvements.
  • Administer the project handover process and document management system.
  • Develop project-specific schedules.
  • Conduct regular meetings with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Attend site meetings and address action points.
  • Communicate project-specific innovations to the Contracts Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proven success in delivering large-scale projects.
  • Preferred qualification in Construction or Project Management.
  • Strong team supervision skills.
