Electrician – Solar PV (NI & ROI)
Thinking about moving your skills into a sector that’s growing fast? We’re working with a busy and growing company in the renewable energy space who are on the hunt for a fully qualified electrician to join their team.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be installing solar PV systems, battery storage and power diverters, as well as carrying out planned and reactive maintenance. Fault finding, repair, inspection and testing will also be part of the day-to-day. Work is split across Northern Ireland and ROI, so a bit of travel is to be expected.

– 18th Edition certification (or equivalent)
– 2391/2395 Inspection & Testing would be a bonus
– A couple of years’ post-apprenticeship experience preferred
– Previous solar experience handy, but training’s provided if not
The offer:
– Up to £18.50 per hour (depending on experience)
– Standard 40 hours a week (but expect more with travel – paid)
– Company van you can take home and use personally
– Tools provided (testing kit and larger power tools)
– Overtime available
– Company pension
– 28 days holiday
– Year-end bonus (cash in an envelope, vouchers here and there – they look after their lads)
