Role: Environmental Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Co. Dublin
Salary: €45,000 - €60,000

This is an exciting opportunity to join their team and contribute to a wide range of prestigious construction projects across Dublin and the wider Leinster region. You will work alongside experienced professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience in health and safety.
The Role
- Develop and oversee the implementation of Site Construction Stage Plans, including traffic management and waste management, in collaboration with the project team.
- Ensure active engagement of EHS advisors, Site Managers, and Supervisors in the audit process and maintain all EHS management systems across projects.
- Guarantee compliance with all internal and external EHS reporting requirements.
- Lead timely accident and incident investigations, working closely with the project team to provide management with informed recommendations.
- Compile and communicate weekly and monthly EHS data reports to project teams, key stakeholders, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Health & Safety Manager and Project Manager to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site visits, including audits and inspections, to monitor and enforce safety protocols.
- Produce comprehensive reports detailing findings from site visits and audits.
- Ensure company policies comply with current health and safety legislation.
- Address health and safety requirements specific to individual projects.
- Promote Health & Safety awareness among management and the workforce, implementing necessary documentation such as Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, and O&M manuals.
- Deliver site inductions and health and safety briefings.
- Attend site meetings and contribute to health and safety discussions.
- Organize relevant training sessions and maintain accurate training records.
- Support client pre-qualification processes by providing required health and safety information.
- Manage sourcing and stock control of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist effectively during emergency situations.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Health and Safety or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to the construction industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards maintaining a safe working environment.
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification is highly preferred
