About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join a leading company specializing in the food processing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment, providing on-site service and technical support to clients across Ireland.
What You’ll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair food processing equipment at client sites across Ireland.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault resolution on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Conduct equipment commissioning and provide on-site training for clients.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and client requirements during service activities.
- Maintain accurate service records, including detailed reports of work completed and any parts used.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing professional and efficient technical support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement improvements to service processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic engineering.
- Experience in field service roles, preferably within the food processing or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, automation, and mechanical systems is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Ireland with occasional overnight stays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Full, clean Irish/EU driver’s license.
