About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join a leading company specializing in the food processing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment, providing on-site service and technical support to clients across Ireland.


What You’ll Do

  • Install, maintain, and repair food processing equipment at client sites across Ireland.
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault resolution on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct equipment commissioning and provide on-site training for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and client requirements during service activities.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including detailed reports of work completed and any parts used.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing professional and efficient technical support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement improvements to service processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Technical qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic engineering.
  • Experience in field service roles, preferably within the food processing or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, automation, and mechanical systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Ireland with occasional overnight stays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Full, clean Irish/EU driver’s license.
