An established and highly respected Irish main contractor is currently seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman for a prestigious hotel project in Co. Clare.
With decades of experience delivering high-quality projects across the hospitality, commercial, healthcare, educational, residential, and industrial sectors, this contractor has built an outstanding reputation for craftsmanship, professionalism, and successful project delivery throughout Ireland.

The Project
The successful candidate will work on a landmark hotel development within one of Ireland’s most iconic and historic hospitality destinations on the west coast. The project requires exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on quality finishes throughout all stages of delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all finishing works on site to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved
- Coordinate and manage finishing trades and subcontractors
- Drive programme delivery and ensure all works are completed on schedule
- Conduct snagging inspections and ensure timely close-out of defects
- Liaise closely with Site Management, subcontractors, and design teams
- Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and client expectations
- Monitor health & safety compliance across finishing areas
- Maintain strong quality control procedures throughout the final phases of the project
- Organise and prioritise daily and weekly finishing activities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on high-spec residential, hotel, or commercial projects
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme targets
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of finishing processes and quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
- Trade background advantageous
