The Role
As Site Foreman, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
You will work closely with the Site Management and Project teams, coordinating trades and subcontractors while maintaining strong standards of health & safety, quality, and programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate site activities and construction crews.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
- Monitor productivity, quality and progress on site.
- Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers and Project Management.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety requirements.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site organisation.
- Identify and resolve day-to-day construction issues.
- Assist with planning and sequencing of works.
- Maintain effective communication across the site team.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Foreman / General Foreman within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing and site operations.
- Ability to lead and coordinate trades and subcontractors effectively.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet programme deadlines.
- Relevant trade qualification or construction experience is highly desirable.
