Job Title: Ganger / Foreman – Civil Engineering
Location: Cork, Ireland
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site crews, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You will act as the link between site management and operatives, driving productivity while maintaining quality and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors.

Ensure works are carried out in line with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.

Monitor productivity and progress, reporting back to the Site Manager.

Carry out toolbox talks and ensure health & safety compliance at all times.

Organise plant, materials, and labour resources effectively.

Assist in resolving any on-site issues or challenges.
Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a Ganger / Foreman on civil engineering or groundworks projects.

Strong knowledge of civils (e.g., drainage, utilities, concrete, earthworks, roadworks).

Ability to read and interpret drawings.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
-
Safe Pass and relevant tickets (360, Dumper, CSCS Supervisor Card, etc.) an advantage.

Strong focus on health & safety.
