General Foreman

Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 + Van Package
About the Company:
Our client is a well-established residential developer based in Dublin, specialising in high-density housing and apartment projects. Known for their commitment to quality and efficiency, they are seeking an experienced General Foreman to oversee and drive site operations across various stages of construction.
Role Overview:
As the General Foreman, you will be responsible for day-to-day site management and ensuring the smooth progression of high-density residential projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager and other site management staff, coordinating on-site activities to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
- Supervising subcontractors, labourers, and trades, ensuring tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Enforcing health and safety policies and procedures, conducting site inductions and regular safety inspections.
- Coordinating with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
- Monitoring project progress, managing site records, and providing regular reports to the Project Manager.
- Resolving on-site issues promptly, maintaining effective communication across teams to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a General Foreman in high-density residential or apartment projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, UK building regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, drawings, and schedules.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate teams on-site.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
