We’re working with a well-established manufacturer who design and build specialist equipment used globally. They’re investing in new product development and are looking to bring in a Junior / Gradate Manufacturing Engineer to grow into the role.
The Role of the Graduate Engineer:
You’ll be part of a supportive engineering team, helping take new products from concept through to production. This is hands-on and varied, giving you exposure to real product development early in your career.
Day to day you’ll:
- Support new product introduction from concept to production
- Help develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and work instructions
- Assist with prototype builds and first article validation
- Work closely with design, R&D, production, and quality teams
- Learn structured problem-solving to resolve production issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework and scrap
You’ll be learning on the job and gaining real-world experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Requirements for the Graduate Engineer:
- Degree or HND in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar
- 0–2 years’ experience – internships, placements or project work count
- Interest in manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, assembly, wiring, or electronics
- Eager to learn and work across cross-functional teams
- Analytical mindset and practical, hands-on approach
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks) or quality tools (FMEA, SPC) is a bonus
