Graduate Mechanical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor | Dublin | €40,000–€45,000
Our client, a leading mechanical contractor delivering projects across Dublin, is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The Role
- Assist with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for mechanical/M&E packages
- Measure and value mechanical installation works on site, supporting interim valuations and payment applications
- Assist with the preparation and agreement of subcontractor accounts
- Support the commercial team with procurement and cost reporting
- Track variations, changes, and instructions, ensuring accurate cost control
- Liaise with site management, design teams, and subcontractors on commercial matters
- Assist with final account preparation and close-out
The Candidate
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline
- 1–2 years' experience in a QS role within construction or M&E contracting, or a strong graduate with relevant placement experience
- Working knowledge of measurement, cost control, and contract administration
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full clean driving licence
