About the Role:
Our client, a reputable company in Monaghan, is seeking a dedicated Graduate NPD (New Product Development) Technologist to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to kick-start their career in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of new product concepts and formulations under the guidance of senior team members.
- Conduct experiments, trials, and tests to optimize product recipes and processes.
- Support sensory evaluations and analysis to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including product specifications, process instructions, and reports.
- Participate in pilot plant trials and scale-up activities to transition new products to production.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market research, and competitor analysis to contribute to product development strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Strong academic background with a focus on food science, product development, or a related discipline.
- Passion for new product development and innovation in the food industry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
