A highly respected and long-established construction specialist is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join its growing team supporting multiple fitout projects across Dublin and nearby regions.
This is a contractor known throughout the industry for its strong project delivery record, longstanding client relationships, and commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism. With decades of experience across commercial, residential, and specialist fitout environments, the organisation has built a reputation for delivering complex projects to exceptional standards.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will take ownership of health and safety compliance across active sites, ensuring best practice standards are consistently implemented, monitored, and improved.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with Irish health & safety legislation and company procedures
- Deliver toolbox talks, briefings, and safety training
- Maintain documentation, incident reports, and compliance records
- Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and senior leadership
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all projects
Requirements
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
- Proven experience within construction or fitout environments
- Strong knowledge of Irish H&S regulations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
