Maintenance Electrician – Magherafelt – Permanent – Night Shift (Sunday to Tuesday OR Tuesday to Thursday)
We’re working with a long-standing manufacturing business in Magherafelt that produces well-known food products for major retailers across the UK and Ireland. They’re expanding their engineering team and are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join them on night shift.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced production environments, modern machinery, and a team culture where everyone pulls together to keep things running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be carrying out electrical maintenance, servicing, and repairs across a range of production equipment. Quick fault-finding and problem-solving are key here – downtime needs to stay low, and you’ll play a big part in that. You’ll also be supporting 24-hour operations, keeping safety standards front and centre at all times.
What you need
A recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent) and experience working as a Maintenance Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and solid communication are all important for the night shift environment.
It would be an advantage (but not essential) if you’ve worked in food production or FMCG, have exposure to PLCs or automation, or understand mechanical maintenance and industrial safety standards.
Shift pattern
- Sunday to Tuesday OR Tuesday to Thursday– night shift
