Maintenance Engineer – Co. Down
£40,000 – £45,000 - Dayshift
Talent Curve are working with a well-established food manufacturing site looking to bring in a hands-on Maintenance Engineer focused on reliability, efficiency, and keeping production running.
This role would be easily commutable from Belfast, Lisburn, Lurgan, Portadown, Banbridge, Newry etc.
You’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on automated production equipment, driving improvements in uptime, reducing unplanned downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site. You’ll also manage PPMs, fault-finding, root cause analysis, spare parts, and engineering records, while ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with machinery and hygiene standards.
This role suits a Maintenance Engineer with 3–5 years’ experience in FMCG or manufacturing, strong mechanical and/or electrical skills, and confidence fault-finding on automated equipment. CMMS experience is essential, with PLC exposure and food industry experience a bonus.
