About Our Client:
Our client, a reputable company based in County Roscommon, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead their maintenance team. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all machinery and equipment within their facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all machinery and equipment are operating efficiently.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
- Coordinate with other departments to plan and schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of spare parts and negotiating with suppliers.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar leadership role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
