About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a reputable company in Offaly. This is a fantastic opportunity to work day shifts only while ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment in a fast-paced and innovative manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults across machinery and production lines
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and follow regulatory compliance procedures
- Support continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing processes
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Maintenance Technician with experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; PLC experience is an advantage
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
