Maintenance Technician – Day Shift
Talent Curve are working with a well-established manufacturing client to recruit a Maintenance Technician for a day shift role. This is a hands-on position within a fast-paced production environment, ideal for someone with strong fault-finding ability and a proactive approach.
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and packaging equipment
- Respond to breakdowns across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Work closely with production to minimise downtime and support line start-ups and changeovers
- Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety, hygiene and quality standards (HACCP / GMP)
- Complete maintenance logs, work orders and routine inspections
- Identify recurring issues and support continuous improvement activities
- Maintain a clean, organised and audit-ready environment
Criteria
- Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance background
- Experience within manufacturing (food/FMCG desirable)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hygiene-controlled environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
