Maintenance Technician

I am currently working with a well-established manufacturing client based in the Citywest area who are looking to add a Maintenance Technician to their engineering team.

The Role

Working across a day and evening shift rotation, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across production and manufacturing equipment, ensuring machinery and production lines are operating efficiently at all times.

Duties Include

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across manufacturing equipment
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
  • Responding to equipment breakdowns and minimising downtime
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
  • Working closely with production teams to ensure maximum output
  • Assisting with machinery installations and upgrades
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and recorded correctly

Criteria

  • Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, production, or industrial environments
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
  • Experience working on automated equipment would be advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving
