Talent Curve are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a busy manufacturing site on a days-only basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who wants a stable shift pattern, strong technical exposure, and the chance to work across a range of production equipment.
The role will suit someone with a strong electrical or mechanical maintenance background, ideally coming from manufacturing, FMCG, food production, packaging, pharma, medical device, or a similar fast-paced industrial environment.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to reduce downtime
- Work on equipment such as conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics and automated machinery
- Support preventative maintenance schedules and continuous improvement projects
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and work closely with production teams
- Complete basic maintenance records and ensure work is carried out safely
- Assist with machine upgrades, installations and process improvements where required
What We’re Looking For
- Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Technician, Mechanical Technician or similar background
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong fault-finding ability across mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Trade qualification, electrical qualification, mechanical fitting, mechatronics or similar is desirable
- Experience with PLC fault finding would be an advantage
- Good understanding of health and safety in an industrial environment
- Reliable, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced site
