About Our Client:
Our client, a well-established company based in Mid Ulster, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their team. This role involves maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure smooth production operations, with the advantage of working day shifts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to support operational goals and ensure minimal disruption during shifts.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Trade certification or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
