About Our Client:

Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Dungannon, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards in production.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and improve productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow and labor utilization.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
