Mechanical Project Engineer
Location: Limerick, Ireland
Salary: €55,000 - €70,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and review project plans, schedules, and budgets, and make adjustments as necessary to optimise project performance.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, resolving any technical challenges or issues that arise during the course of the project.
- Monitor and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed to minimise potential impacts on project delivery.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, financial statements, and other project documentation as required by clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering project management, preferably within the construction or HVAC industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and codes, such as building codes and health and safety regulations.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
