Location: Limerick, Ireland
Salary: €55,000 - €70,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review project plans, schedules, and budgets, and make adjustments as necessary to optimise project performance.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, resolving any technical challenges or issues that arise during the course of the project.
  • Monitor and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed to minimise potential impacts on project delivery.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, financial statements, and other project documentation as required by clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering project management, preferably within the construction or HVAC industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and codes, such as building codes and health and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
