Mechanical Project Manager

About Our Client:
They are an expanding Mechanical & Electrical Contractor based in Dublin, committed to delivering excellence in every project we undertake. With their focus on continuous growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing projects from initiation to completion, reporting directly to the Mechanical Operations Director.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including client design teams, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors, to ensure the successful delivery of project scope and meet shareholder requirements.
- Manage and coordinate all phases of the Mechanical Services project delivery cycle, including Pre-Construction & Planning, Construction, Testing & Commissioning.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee quality, safety, and procurement aspects, ensuring alignment with project targets.
- Manage the financial aspects of projects, monitoring ongoing budgets and expenditures.
- Participate in project pre-appointment meetings, ensuring alignment among all stakeholders regarding the scope of works.
- Review designs and coordinate construction drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Oversee the installation of works according to project specifications and change control procedures, maintaining a safety-focused culture throughout project execution.
- Provide guidance to ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications for site activities.
Role/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a contracting environment, with a proven track record of managing successful projects.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and direct project teams effectively.
- Excellent IT and technical skills to support project management activities.
- Outstanding communication and organization skills to facilitate collaboration among stakeholders.
- Package will be in line with qualifications and experience.
