Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Supervisor with our client, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing mechanical installations, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards. With opportunities across the West and Northwest of Ireland, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional mechanical solutions within a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation activities on construction sites, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and motivate mechanical teams to achieve project milestones safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues or risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure that all mechanical works are carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to mechanical teams, resolving any technical challenges or issues that may arise during the course of the project.
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with design requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required, representing our client professionally and proactively addressing any concerns or queries.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the mechanical construction industry.
  • Trade qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping installations.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry.
  • Valid driving licence
